About Mattheessen's
Mattheessen's story began in 1993, when the Mattheessen family moved to Key West, Florida, and opened a small coffee kiosk named after their daughter, Kayla's Cafe. What started as a simple dream grew into something sweeter.
Not long after, the family expanded into a fudge and cookie shop, and with the success of Mattheessen's Candy Kitchen, the brand continued to grow. Today, Mattheessen's proudly operates three beloved locations in Key West – including two on world-famous Duval Street and one on Greene Street – along with a location in Nashville, Tennessee, just off Broadway on 2nd Avenue N.
